Motivation
Cyber-security, hybrid wars, fake-news... All became buzzwords in IT industry but sound in political narratives as well. REDES does not address these buzzwords. REDES addresses more important, less advertised parts of today’s reality: Digital Sovereignty.
What is REDES
REDES is a messaging platform for proofed document and data exchange between communication participants, whereas the trust is at least at the same level as of electronic payment transactions.
REDES message consist of the envelope and attached documents and/or data.
REDES is a part of customer’s cyber-security ecosystems, under ultimate customer’s control.
REDES enforces Digital sovereignty.
What is not REDES
REDES is not email system.
REDES is not primarily targeted for untrained mass of users.
Security Aspects of REDES
REDES user security aspects are inspired by (EU) 2015/1502 at Level of Assurance High.
REDES enforces means of any message authenticity, integrity, and longevity.
It supports migration of data and document content from older standards to current ones. (SHA1 -> SHA2 -> SHA3 etc.)
REDES is secure by design. All parts were design and built from a scratch to meet all reasonably required security standards. REDES address all email architectural security flaws by different secure design and architectural approach.
There is no special generic software used. Open-source software is used where possible. Closed-source software is used where needed. REDES runs on standard and simple hardware products (x64, common hardware). Simple servers are used to support granular scaling.
You own your digital sovereignty
Customer’s encryption methods and keys. Customer’s datacenter related measures. Customer’s special hardware. Customer’s participant’s registration proce- dures. Special participant’s authentication and/or electronic identity means.
Pass over of complete source code and documentation. Train the user trainers, L1, L2, L3 support. User lifecycle management process customization.

Creators wanted to create and offer the REDES system, user less friendly, with “black and white” interface to the customers, who must communicate under full undisputable control.
